Anonymous asked: why did you decide to use film? i asked you before if you should with film and you said no because you can do the same effects on photoshop and shooting digital is "free" haha :P

I guess in the past I didn’t really understand it, or hated the process of developing and scanning.  But over time I grow to love film and the qualities it provides.  Hard to describe… for me when I see a film photo it is more moving, compelling, nostalgic, its truly “capture the moment.”  For me it just feels like it has more meaning, especially with expired film, gives a sense of “history.”

For years I’ve tried to duplicate film with digital, to limited success it worked.  Again, nothing compares to the real thing though.
